Terms of Use
Prepared October 25, 2026 · Legal provider: Venture Loop Inc. · Ontario, Canada
Good Marketeers operates under Venture Loop Inc. Please read these terms, including the data-risk, liability and Ontario dispute provisions, together with our Privacy Policy.
Who provides Anytime Notes
Good Marketeers operates under Venture Loop Inc. Venture Loop Inc. is the legal provider of Anytime Notes and this website. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Venture Loop Inc. operating as Good Marketeers; “you” refers to the person using the app or website. Contact info@anytimenotes.com with questions about these terms.
Scope and mandatory rights
These terms address use of the Anytime Notes app and website, including optional Premium features. Google Play purchases are also subject to the applicable Google Play terms. Our Privacy Policy describes personal-information handling, including planned website advertising and measurement using TikTok, Meta and Google. Such website tools are separate from the app’s Google Play purchase and related service handling. Accepting these terms does not by itself consent to optional tracking. Nothing in these terms excludes, limits or waives a consumer, privacy or other right, remedy, warranty or obligation that applicable law does not permit to be excluded, limited or waived. Mandatory law prevails over any conflicting wording below.
Your data, backups and access credentials
You retain your rights in the content you create or import. You are responsible for the content you choose to store, the devices and recipients you trust, and maintaining independent, verified backups and the passwords needed to restore them. Check that a backup can be restored before relying on it. Keep recovery passwords separately and securely. Do not rely on a single device, an unreadable export or an unverified scheduled job as your only copy.
Loss of a device, deletion, storage failure, corruption, interrupted operations, software defects, compromised devices, operating-system changes, forgotten passwords or changes to device authentication can cause permanent loss of data or access. We do not hold your notebook protection keys or recovery passwords and cannot guarantee that we can recover, decrypt, repair or restore your content. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage can delete local data. External backups, exports and copies may remain accessible to their holders.
Sensitive information and security risks
No app, device, encryption mechanism, backup or transfer is guaranteed to be completely secure or available. Use your judgment before storing sensitive or irreplaceable information, sharing content or granting another app access. Ordinary notes are not encrypted by the selected-note protection feature; readable exports do not inherit note protection. Anyone with a shared file and its password may retain or disclose its contents. Removing trust or deleting an original cannot recall previously received copies. A compromised device, malicious keyboard or accessibility service, insecure recipient or exposed password can defeat confidentiality.
We do not warrant that the app will prevent every leak, unauthorized access, disclosure, security incident, loss, corruption or lockout. This statement does not reduce our duties to protect personal information under applicable privacy law or to comply with applicable breach-response obligations.
Service and warranty limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app, website, exports, backups and sync features are provided “as is” and “as available”, without contractual warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or guaranteed security, integrity, availability or recovery of data. The app is not a substitute for independent backup, records-management or security arrangements. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device, file provider, network, launcher, operating-system change or third-party service. These limitations apply only where lawful and do not override mandatory quality guarantees or statutory remedies.
Exclusion of data-related and consequential losses
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Venture Loop Inc., Good Marketeers and their directors, officers, employees and agents are not liable for loss, destruction or corruption of notes, photos, backups or other data; sensitive-information leaks, unauthorized access or disclosure; lost passwords, encryption keys or access to data; inability to decrypt, restore, sync or recover data; or resulting recovery, reconstruction or replacement costs. To the same extent, they are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue or business interruption arising from use of, or inability to use, the app or website, including claims in contract or negligence and even if the possibility of such loss was communicated.
Overall liability limit and exceptions
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of Venture Loop Inc., Good Marketeers and their directors, officers, employees and agents for claims arising from the app or website will not exceed the total amount you actually paid for Anytime Notes and its Premium features. This cap does not reduce a refund or other remedy that mandatory law requires.
The exclusions and cap do not apply to fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. They do not prevent a complaint to a privacy or consumer regulator, limit a regulator’s powers, excuse our statutory privacy duties, or waive a remedy that applicable law makes non-waivable. If a limitation cannot apply to a particular claim, it applies only to the extent the law permits; it does not remove the claim altogether.
Indemnity for unlawful use and third-party claims
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Venture Loop Inc., Good Marketeers and their directors, officers, employees and agents for reasonable, documented losses, damages and legal costs awarded in a third-party claim, to the extent caused by your unlawful use of the app, your infringement of another person’s rights, or your intentional or negligent unauthorized disclosure of another person’s information through the app. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our breach of these terms, negligence, security failures, unlawful conduct or other fault, and it does not require you to reimburse us for liability the law prevents us from shifting to you.
We will give prompt notice of a claim for which we seek indemnity and a reasonable opportunity to participate in its defence. We will not enter a settlement imposing an admission, payment or continuing obligation on you without your consent. This indemnity concerns third-party claims; it does not require you to indemnify us merely because your own data was lost, leaked, corrupted or inaccessible.
Ontario law and dispute resolution
These terms and disputes arising from the app, website or these terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, subject to the mandatory consumer protections and court rights described below. Subject to mandatory law, you and Venture Loop Inc. submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada, and legal proceedings concerning those disputes must be brought in Ontario.
If mandatory law gives you non-waivable protections under another jurisdiction’s laws, or a right to bring a claim in another court or forum, those protections and rights remain available. You may contact us first to seek an informal resolution, but doing so is not a condition of exercising a legal right or meeting a legal deadline. These terms do not require binding arbitration, prohibit a legally protected class proceeding, or prevent a complaint to a regulator.
Changes, severability and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app or our operations. Revised terms will show their date; material changes will be brought to users’ attention where required. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Questions: info@anytimenotes.com. EU/EEA consumer rights
If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU/EEA, choosing Ontario law does not deprive you of mandatory protections of the law applicable in your country. You may bring proceedings in your home courts where applicable law provides that right; the Ontario forum clause does not require you to give up that right. We may bring proceedings against a consumer only in a court permitted by applicable law. Contractual exclusions, caps and indemnities above do not remove mandatory conformity guarantees, required updates or remedies for digital content, or rights and compensation under data-protection law. An indemnity does not shift our statutory responsibilities to you.
Premium is an optional one-time digital-content purchase through Google Play, not a subscription or a promise of hosted cloud services. Google Play shows the final local price, currency and applicable taxes before payment. You may be entitled to correction of non-conforming digital content, a proportionate price reduction or termination/refund under applicable law. Do not buy again to resolve a failed activation; contact info@anytimenotes.com for help. These rights are additional to any voluntary store refund policy.
Distance purchases generally carry a 14-day withdrawal right, subject to the legal rules for the particular purchase. For digital content supplied immediately, loss of that right requires the legally required express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation; merely accepting these terms or using the app is not such an acknowledgement. The relevant Google Play checkout and confirmation govern that purchase process. Google’s EEA purchase/refund information: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/15576634. If you are entitled to withdraw, send an unambiguous statement identifying the purchase, date and your contact details to info@anytimenotes.com or our postal address; using a model form is not mandatory. Keep passwords and payment-card details out of the request. Statutory remedies for faulty or non-conforming content remain available even where the immediate-supply withdrawal exception applies.
